Trefoil Charms 2!

Today I taught my Unit how to make the Charms! I thought they were easy! But only a few of my guides figured it out! I was constantly running back and forth between cries of "is this right?" "Help me" and "it looks weird!" Now I know how my leaders feel!

Trefoil Charms!

Using three heart shaped pony beads, three small pearl beads and some wire, I was able to create a new Girl guiding charm for my Love-links bracelet! Look How cute it is!!

Badges are best!

When you ask people what is your favourite type of S.W.A.P.S what is normally the answer?... well for me it is always "Badges are best!" I don't know whether this is because I live in England and S.W.A.P.S. aren't very popular or because everyone seems to have a camp blanket (other then my best friend who always "loses" her badges by accident)! Anyway what is your answer to the question? and what is the most popular answer you get?

S.W.A.P.S. Hat!

There are tons of ways to show off your swaps! On a Vest, Neck tie, Sash, Blanket... and the list goes on and on!

I Personally Go for the more traditional approach of putting mine on a bucket hat, this seems to be very popular (especially  Khaki coloured ones), My Bucket hat is a official Girlguiding Centenary one, on to which my S.W.A.P.S. have been transfered from a very old (Poacher 2008) Cap, which was falling apart from all of the holes!

Any way enough about my hat! I want to know (and possibly see) How you show off all your swaps! be it vest, be it sash or be it any other imaginative way! Post it as your comment below... I might even hold a contest for the best way of showing off your S.W.A.P.S!
